picoamps - Quality Made in Germany
picoamps is based in a place in the suburban region of Munich -
the German high tech region "Municom Valley". Having the complete production chain in house, we are able
to maintain highest quality standards for our products. Each device runs through a burn in phase and is
completely tested in order to verify the specifications.
We generally have all standard models on stock to offer short order to shipment cycles.
20 Years of Experience
picoamps was founded in 1990 by two RF engineers from Siemens Corporate Research,
who are still heading the company. From the beginning on picoamps has been concentrating
on extremely broadband RF amplifier design. Meanwhile a variety of standard products have been developed
and are subject to constant improvement. In addition to that several customer specific developments
have been carried out when the standard products did not exactly meet the customer requirements.
picoamps looks back to almost 20 years of development and production of ultra broadband
RF amplifiers.
In 2009 our new business line automotive was founded, wich is dedicated to optimising of power train
of electrically driven vehicles. Our innovative solutions for and about the engine improve the performance of the
vehicles and thus rocket the market acceptance of this new technology.
Customer Specific Designs
If none of our standard models matches your requirements, please contact picoamps. Our design team is able to develop your broadband amplifier in competitively short time using our in house rapid prototyping process. Taking your specifications the design is carried out using the latest microwave design tools. The verification of the prototypes is started immediately after all required components have been received. Thus picoamps reach shortest cycle times of down to 6 weeks for customer specific designs.

We consequently avoid cost overhead since we are convinced that our customers prefer to pay for technology rather than for burocracy. Our designs are regularly reviewed in order to apply new technologies to improve performance and at the same time maintain or improve the cost position.
